About Jeffrey Easterday
Jeffrey Easterday has been serving the estate and tax planning needs of clients in the Kansas City area for nearly four decades. In 1995, he affiliated his law practice with that of Parman & Associates, one of the Midwest’s leading estate planning law firms. His goal is to help the firm’s clients preserve their wealth, minimizing taxes, and protecting them in the event of incapacity.
professional Experience
Mr. Easterday developed his strong background in estate planning and taxation through his association with Arthur Andersen Company as staff tax accountant and as a partner in two Kansas City law firms. During this time, he expanded his experience to include corporate and real estate law.
He established his own practice in 1985. The firm is a charter member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. In addition, Mr. Easterday has been awarded the designation of “Fellow” by the American Academy recognizing the breadth of his experience in the estate planning field. Mr. Easterday is co-author of Estate Planning Basics: A Crash Course in Safeguarding Your Legacy.
Education
Mr. Easterday earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Kansas in 1975. He also completed his undergraduate work in business administration and accounting with distinction at the University of Kansas.
Personal profile
Mr. Easterday, a resident of the Kansas City metropolitan area, is married and the father of three children, and is an active participant in the lives of four young grandchildren. He served the Kansas City Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association as board member and officer and served as a member of the board of directors of the Johnson County 3 & 2 Baseball Club.
